1st October 2016
We depart from Kuala Terengganu around 7.00am and reach Bukit Keluang one hour and half later. there are lots of car park here so you can left your car without worrying about the safety. As that day was awal muharam holiday lots of people here, but nevermind, it safe to be with a lots of people rather than just our groups. Bukit Keluang have 3 peaks and if you are hiking from the south of Bukit Keluang, you can reach the first peak 15 minutes later. Actually we didn't start hiking from the north area of Bukit Keluang (the long beach) as the track was very steep.
For this trip we take 2 hour and half to finished the hiking instead of an hour on our first time hiking here. I just laying my own under rhu tree facing to the South China Sea. What a beautiful scenery, with the blue ocean, clear sky with good whether, ahhaa we can see Perhentian Island and Rhu Island from here. :)
After a while, like the previous trip, we take a banana boat to Rhu Island (the nearest island just opposite Bukit Keluang beach). The wave are quite rough, sometimes its quite scary huhu. after we land, I found lots of black sea cucumber on the beach here. I though some visitor catch its and leff them on the beach. when i found them, most of them, they almost dehydrated, well sea cucumber are made up from 50% of water in their body and it almost die due to dehydrated. Yeah human do sunbathing but nots sea cucumber..!! Basically this kind of sea cucumber are very common on South East Asia waters, even its not dangerous but as a visitor please don't harm them. You can touch it but left it as how you first found it.
We left Rhu Island, after reach Bukit Keluang Beach, we go to swim awhile before take off.
P/s: This is my second trip to Bukit Keluang, please do not hesitate to read my first trip here and more info about this area. Here the link
